has anyone else got one of these? i've just bought one and not yet fitted it going to do it in a minute. what are peoples opinions on them? i know it won't be as good as a harness but it should give better support than the seat belt on its own.

I got one but haven't tried it either.. don't have an alen key to fit it and haven't got round to finding one yet.

i like them, set up a group buy a while ago and sold over 40.. not too bad.. seems to give you a lot more support imo..

not everyone is keen though

they come supplied with an allen key

Mine was 2nd hand, guy never sent it with it. We got a new toolkit at work with some in, just need to remember to take it home sometime.

overall i'm quite impressed with the way it holds you. i've just been for a quick blast across the moors and it does hold you down better. my only critism is that you seem to lose support near the top of the belt i can't understand why but thats how it feels. i'll give it a 7 in my proffesional opinion lol :)

agree, fiddly, poor fitting and I found they don't work that well (they still come loose) unless you tighten the f00k out of it, but then your belts are going to be worn/damaged in no time. I sold mine.

Wrong!

Mine's been in dialy use for well over three years, and I tighten the f*** out of it to keep my hips pinned.

My seatbelt show only the slightest area of wear - nothing at all to be concerned about.

Lot's of people do not rate them, and compared to full harnesses they're obviously rubbish.

But compared to a standard diagonal lap belt they do a much better job of holding you in. Light years ahead.

totally agree, had mine in 6 months, and no wear at all, must be poor fitting if any major wear is present

Used mine at the last two airfield days, quite good imo. Dont need it now tho, got harness

no, i agree harnesses are obviously much better, but for the road they can be a bit much?! and for £30 its good imo
