I'm playing with the idea of getting a machine polisher..

Whats a fairly decent but cheap polisher for a novice?

Advise please?

Cheers

There was a g220 on here 2nd hand for about £90 with pads and polish so just keep your eyes out for a second hand machine mate.

Or buy new £100+

Yeah cheap polishers/buffs aren't the way to go mate.

Buy a dedicated product for polishing, g220 for example.

  Not a 320d

Any dual action for a beginner, you cant really go wrong and its hard, if not impossible to damage paintwork with a DA machine. If you want the megs G220, the best kit to start with would be this one;

Menz polishes are great, and so are the pads.

Enter "cliosport" on each of those websites and youll get a discount.

Rotarty is something id stay away from if youve never touched a polisher before, the machine builds up a lot of heat and cuts very quickly, its far more effective, but takes some getting used to.
