Cheap Camera

First post isnt showing for me, so I'll repost.

Can anyone recommend a good point and shoot for 70 or 80 quid?
I may be able to spend a little extra.
I'm looking for something that shoots good film too.
Would consider a camcorder that takes photos but don't think i can get one for that price.

Both my mum and my sister have one each and they are very impressive and durable

I just got my missus a Casio Exelim for 80 quid from Boots. It won the Gadget Show's "Best party camera" and has anti-shake, face recognition and all that shight. Supposedly shoots good video too.

I've heard nothing but excellent reviews about lumix cameras.

I think i might just wait, and spend a little more in january
Really really want the Lumix FX35. £140, but seems to have a good lens, shoots 10MP, and shoots HD quality film FFS!
