Chewing gum on back seat

One of my tw*tty friends has smudged chewing gum over one of my back seats - tw*t! Was just wondering if anyone can offer any advice.. the patch is quite big.. the actual chewing gum has come off but its left a thin layer of white sh*t.

:(

get him to buy u a new set of back seats. and of course, they have to match the frnt seats as well, so its prob best if he buys u a complete brand new set! - leather of course ;)

the only idea i can think of is put ice on it to freeze it, but thats not gonna work on fabric is it?

other than that, loads of cleanin stuff- i like the first idea the best !

An upholstery steam cleaner softens it and you can wipe/peal it off . I used one of these Vaporetta thingys on my wifes old clio seats. 200K miles and they came up like new!

1) Get a damp hanky or thin towel.

2) Place over gum,

3) Place warm-hot Iron over the damp hanky, lightly pressing+ironing, then wait till hanky Is dryish. Hey presto!

Gum will be softend+relesed onto hanky/towel!

Its worked on me trousers

Believe it or not, PEANUT BUTTER wil take the gum right off. Then use your

tongue or mild soap & water to remove the peanut butter. Really...it works!

Solvents are dangerous and might dissolve the fabric.

Or another oily product like cooking oil or bath oil should work the same way and use some mild detergent and warm water to remove the oily residue.

Try the peanut butter, make sure you have 4 slices of toast filled with the stuff first. Followed by a pint of milk!! You either love it or ya hate it.

It does work on chewing gum tho. PB that is...

If i was u i try the peanut butter cause even if it doesnt work you will have had more enjoyment than all the other methods !

Take it out of the cage first!!

Ice, just use ice, the water wont hurt anything, but the ice will freeze it then you should just be able to pick it off.
