Chugging abit..

Hi,

Toxic Warning light came on took it to garage they said 02 censor so i got it changed. Light is off and has not come back on but the car still systems to be chugging abit if thats the right word, when its ticking over its not smooth.

Anyone know what it might be, it smells strong off petrol aswell. My brother was saying the mixture of the fuel maybe incorrect causing this.

what engine and if you dont mind me asking for future refernce, how much did they charge for the new sensor and labour?

my car is 172, thye didnt charge as garage did it where i bought car.

Its about £50-£60 for part and 1 hours labour, thats what Renault said to me. So over a oner.

Check plugs,leads and injectors

Is there anything i should be looking for when i check?

After listening today its def miss firing?!

First narrow it down to what cylinder it is

By starting up and removing leads, and checking for change in engine note ect,
No change in note should signify the one

Or do it by unplugging the injectors ect

If it's a dead injector, you won't be able to see it really

Nah not really.

its around 70 for a new injector from stealers

but personaly i would go get them all cleande ect first just incase that is the problem

i paid 35 for all 4 to be claened and flow tested ect
