claying, whats the best?

Hi, I have never clayed a car so not really sure on the stuff, can someone help me on what sort to go for and prices etc?

Megs quick clay kit from halfords mate, excellent for clay newbies.

Meguiars are real good dont know of any others really. I myself bought it for about £20.

Know lots of people who do use it and are very please with the results...

I've used megs paint cleaner, i guess its a similar idea to that. Gonna clay it though!

To be used before polish n wax guys.

Claying will remove the things Paint Cleaner won't.

Wash, Clay, Polish, Seal/Wax.

iv just brought poorboys clay bar, iv used the megs before and found i got good results with it.

Just the one way really, have a read of this guide which is really good and you should be well on your way.

The process is the same but there are two differnt options when it comes to claying. To use the clay you need to glide it over a lubricated surface.

To do this you can use either a quick detail spray as supplied in the kits to do it, or make up a much cheaper and more cost effective solution from car shampoo and water to avoid using lots of QD spray.
