Something else im guna try also, which clay kit should i go for ?

Also, how do you clay.....tare a bit off the bar and flatten it out and then drag it (rub it) across the paintwork...

megs clay .

wash the car and do it whilst still wet , you can never have too much liquid on the car , have too low can be a mess , rather than the quick detailer , use car wash stuff watered down .

break the clay bar into 3 pieces , i piece enough to do the whole car , drop it some hot water to soften 1st .

thats the clay kit i used....pretty good too imo too

The newer Megs Clay Kit looks alot of money for what it is, Though the clay is quite good. I use that or the Sonus Green.

should i try a bar of sonus green then, and also am i allrite just say giving one pannel a wash at a time and then rubbing the clay with the soap suds.. ??


What sort of benefits will i be able to see ? i only bought the car in october and i think the stealer will have clayed it.

I bought the Sonus Green as recommended by Rich, quite a mild Clay, ideal for the first timer.

IMO thats far to expensive for clay and lube Id buy Sonus green and make lube up with shampoo and water.

Visually not alot, test the paint to see how much stuff is bonded to the paint. Can you feel a rough finish washing wont remove ?

Mix up some shampoo and water in spray bottle to use as the lube, after washing the panel spray it on. I use 2-4 capfuls in a 500ml sprayer.
