I want to clay my car, but Ive run out of QD. Is there anything else I can use??

If Im claying it, is it worth washing with washing up liquid to get rid of any remaing wax etc that may still be on the car?

make a water/carshampoo mix up and use that instead, make it more soapy than usual though.

As the gayboy says use a doube strength solution, claying will remove all wax anyway so no need for the WUL!

So are you saying that if I use a mixture of zymol car shampoo and water I could effectively use it instead of the meg QD as a temporary measure?

Ive ran out and I desperately need some today

No its perfect now it doesnt go anywhere... I need the QD for the push bike now

I use it after washing the car after using 2 bucket method & wash mit to remove the water marks... works a treat - spray on then use a microfibre cloth to wipe off.
