Clio 1.4 16v noise when accelerating hard

I have a strange ticking noise when accelerating hard on my Clio. If I increase the speed / revs gently there is no noise, only when I boot it, the same in all gears. Sounds like an exhaust leak noise but I have changed the exhaust manifold gasket and all the gaskets on the exhaust.
it doesn't do it stationary. Any help would be appreciated.
