Clio 182 horns

  Land Rover
My Clio 182 horn is only a weak bleating sound, l assume there should be twin horns as on the 1.2 Clio l owned earlier this year.

I can’t see the horns in the engine bay, they must be behind the bumper somewhere, can anybody advise how do l get to them?

Remove the bumper and should be behind the NS arch liner, easier to take the bumper off than it is to take the arch liner out as they just seem to f**king break lmao

Yep N/S Wheel arch just behind bumper. Standard 182 is a twin horn, Cup’s are a single.

Check your wiring/fuses if you think one isn’t working properly as a starting point. Cleaning contacts can help as it’s prone to being splashed with water from the road.

Thanks for the replies.
l’m not taking the bumper off, the last but one owner replaced the wheel arch liners so it should come off OK.
I’ll take a look at it tomorrow.

Had a look today, wiring OK but one horn intermittently not sounding.
They look pretty rusty.
Will just get another pair.

Got a pair with bracket and link wire for a tenner including postage,
They look much better than mine and work perfectly
Nice when you fix something for next to nothing.
