Clio 2.0 engine 138bhp is it the same as 197 sport

Hi guys is the Renault Clio Dominique s 2.0 138bhp the same engine as the sport 197 and if so what does it need to get to 197bhp

197 is a Renault F4R.

Its a chain engine. You wont get 197hp out of it. The most you can get is an extra 10hp with a remap. They are aluminium block engines and are not designed to have any more power put through them. The block heats up too much and deforms and then its game over for that engine. Stick with standard, very reliable if you maintain them well

Yeah it's the same mate, all you need is an ecotec valve and a k&n air filter and you'll be blowing sports away
