Clio active subwoofer (?) question

  Citroen BX
Hi, I've just been given this and it was suggested by someone on the Autoshite forum (where I normally reside) that I should ask about it here. It was removed from a Clio that was just about to be scrapped & I think I'm right in thinking it's a powered subwoofer?

I opened it up for a better look:

It looks like it was a standard fitment to the car rather than an aftermarket device, so what I wanted to ask was:
- does it have to be driven by a crossover unit or a normal line output, and
- does anyone know what the pinouts for it are?

Any help gratefully received!

As for wiring, there should be 7 wires going into the connector. A live (red), earth (black) and a feed from aerial (grey I think). There should also be 2 blue and 2 orange, these were tied into the rear speakers.

Thanks for that, I guess the chap who pulled it from the car must have been having memory trouble! I've found a wiring diagram now I know it's off a Fiat.

So, even though it turned out to have nothing whatsoever to do with a Clio, you guys managed to help anyway! Cheers.
