Hi All,
Just bought a new Clio a couple of weeks ago. 200 EDC Cup. I'm from Ireland, however bought my car in the UK. I had a Megane R26 F1 edition a few years ago for a short period of time. A new house put an end to that drive, but now very happy to be back in an RS car, and I must say I'm delighted with the Clio. I do have a few questions about the car so I would be glad of the help over the next while! I've also recently joined the Renault Sport UK forum
Short-term plans for the Clio - Put some nice upgrades on it, inside, outside and underneath but still keeping the Renault DNA. I won't be chaving it up. The unicorn being the Clio RS 16 Aerofoil spoiler. Others including an Alcantara steering wheel, some Alcantara and stitching on some panels, replacement badges, some nice, but faint graphic/paint details in places that give a nod to it's [Renault Sport's] heritage, a clue being the days of Ayrton Senna. Finally, based on testing and results this year and next, a new hybrid turbo that will see the power increased to a possible 270-300 BHP from a Renault Sport engine specialist in the UK.
Long-term plans are to hang on to it, when I feel it's time to upgrade my car and turn it into a pure track car and bring to Waldow Performance in Germany so they can do their thang!
Thanks for reading and I look forward to bouncing thoughts and ideas around with you all!
