Clip software

I see a few people are selling clip software now online to run with windows xp.
Has anyone tried this software and found it useful?

also it comes without any leads so what lead did you purchase?

Have you used clip before? Complex bit of kit and if you don't know what you are doing then you can make things a whole lot worse.

Steer clear of imitations. The proper system requires updates too. If you are in need of a diagnostic session i would go to a competent clip user tbh.

Never used it before and I can imagine its a nightmare.
would like to be able to read fault codes and not just the PO ones.
any ideas on a scanner which goes further than a £30 ebay obd2 jobby which will let me read srs and abs

No worries, you need to pay extra for the modules but it's the closest you will get without clip.

Is this limited to clios only or even one clio?

Legitimate Clip software shouldn't work on any old computer... maybe you can get cracked versions, I don't know. You should also need a CAN but it's been years since I've used one so maybe it's all changed!?

You need the can clip interface. The cheap eBay copies are accidents waiting to happen.

You can get some legitimate ones off eBay too, I'm sure a few weeks ago one went for at least a £1000
