Ha, was just about to ask if iPhone would also change the time. Mine is on Vodafone, but presume that's got nothing to do with it.

It's done by the cell mast I'm not really sure my older moblie on o2 doesn't change I think most will do if the it's enabled in the settings

I was well chuffed when i found out about the clocks tonight. 11 hour shift instead of 12! YAY

Glad to find this, couldn't remember if it changed itself in November and google wasn't much help!
