Clunking after tracking

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
Had my tracking done at a local tyre place now I've got a clunking coming from the steering. This has happened before but I then took it to a local garage and they tightened something back up which fixed it. I have jacks and axle stands so wouldn't mind having a look myself. What did the garage tight up to stop the clunking? Many thanks!

Only thing they should be touching is the track rods. So have a look there. As tracking is only toe adjustment.

I had my old clio tracked once I lowered it and since that day my steering started to clunk but only when turning stood stil, if I was moving at any speed it was fine, mine turned out to be a bent steering rack which must of come under extra pressure or something, hope that helps

Is there anything else it could be? It's definetely the fact they haven't tightened something up. Wheres the adjuster for the tracking? I bet it's they havent tightened that up enough.

Last few times I got my alignment done, the steering wheel would be out of line after a few miles.
Turns out (pardon the pun) my rack bushes are knackered and have slight play in ball joints - worth investigating mate

It was a radioator pipe hitting a piece of the subframe. Tie wrapped it up and it's all sorted! Love fixes like that!
