Clutch dropping?

Hey all,

For a few weeks now my Clio Alize 1999 has felt very weak when started in the morning (not being driven for 10+ hours) and for the first few mins when driving feels like it will stall. To add to this today I set off for work and the clutch felt very weak also and too easy to push down. I could barely reach 30mph before hitting 4000 revs and the revs seem to shoot up very quickly. Any ideas as this sounds like the clutch needs replacing to me?

weak starting seems to be the norm untill the engine warms up and it goes into the hot map, if your revs are shooting up with out a increase in road speed it would usually mean the clutch needs replacing
