Code 0130 what to do

Ok had the Engine warning light come on bought a code reader but when waiting for delivery it went out all on its own ... anyway it has come back on I have used the code reader there where two codes knock sensor and O2 circuit sensor malfunction ...turned the light off but it has come on again the knock sensor error has gone ...but the O2 Sensor Circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 1 has come back ... I cant help thinking it has something to do with the ITG filter that I just fitted an idea's thanks

Sensor 1 would be the lambda IIRC

If the lambda is faulty then it will cause the car to overfuel, which in turn may have cause the knock sensor fault to come up as the engine may of pinked or detted slightly.

Have you noticed a drop in MPG on the trip computer, is the car running right, feels ok when revved out etc?

Sensor 1 is usually the post-cat sensor as Sensor 0 is the pre-cat but I didn't think the Ph1 had twin lambdas?

The car seems to be running fine ..cant say i have noticed a drop in economy ? could this have anything to do with the ITG filter I fitted ? and what do I need to do to solve the problem ...have turned the light off and it has stayed off after driving the car this morning for around 10 miles ?

ITG filter shouldnt have anything to do with it, if its a 172mk1 Y reg made after mar 01 it will have 2 lambda sensors.

the code reader says sensor 1 or 2, so its the pre-cat sesnor shot.
