Cold Air Feed

I’ve been thinking where is the best place to run from i.e. space and as straight as possible.

So was thinking would running a CAF into the wheel arch be any good?
Is there good air flow? Or some strange air pressure as the wheel is spinning in the arch

Wont it melt there? Plus its stoping air passing over the engine from the front grill.
And has 2 nasty 90 deg bends

ive taken out the stupid acoustic valve and that give enough room to feed the pipe down there and if you take out the fog light you can stick it there or if you want to keep fogs you can sit it in that wheel arch thats where the standard feed is

like Matty has done ; lose the acoustic valve and feed two big 70mm down there.

Good question from you about the air pressure maybe being wrong there but i think when Renault themselves design it routed down there it must be okay !

I have also lost the fuelrail-guard and my caf is routed across the front pointed straight through the grill so air is forced in.. I have doubts that this is good/best ; a LOT of turbulence in the filter/intake this way .

I think fact is you should have a caf to a place where the air is cool and standing still if you get me ? Been reading around quite a bit on this and it seems the outcome
