Cold air intake?

was wondering which air intake is the best for the 182. Best in performance, price is not really an issue. all feedback is appreciated? Thanks

go to www.venairsport.co.uk or look on ebay as he has a shop on there, really good solid stuff and very flexi which is ideal to run it down to the bumber although its a very very tight squeeze and you need to remove the beloved accoustic valve.

thanks, but sorry i forgot to mention that im not looking for something complicated. ITG maxogen? Viper piperX? between these two? which one gives more performance. does the ITG have a inlet pipe from the front of the car just like the piperX?

Itg maxogen for best performance from what i have read on here,i would rather have bmc cda than pipercross

CAF's are great and i love the sound of my BMC! But... If you pipe it from the lower grille then you do run the risk of getting water in your filter and even engine with our "summer" *cough* sh**ty weather.

Had a Viper then went to a Maxogen and there was bugger all difference in noticeable acceleration.
Maxogen is regarded as the best but at a price. Its up to you to decide if that price is worth it or not.

Which ever you choose to get the best out of it, your better getting it mapped.

Ive been running a 4 inch diameter CAF from the fog light for well over a year rain trodden Scotland and never had a water problem.
Would take some serious amounts of flooding to get all the way up and into the engine

thanks andy, i have the itg stock filter replacement now, they told me all i have to do is put a new inlet pipe because its been said that the stock filter is the best performance wise. so im not sure?
