Cold Starting Problems

Ive had a 1.2 16v Dynamique for 5 years now. Its never been keen on starting cold however never used to stall. Recently it has been reving heavily and some times stalls when cold. Is there anything i can do to stop this or reduce the problem>?

Check the spark plugs also clean the throttle body I'd bet it needs a clean.
