Just about every picture I've seen recently of other 172's or 182's shows then wearing Turini wheels.

You'll all be after Mondial Blue resprays, Mossa cloth interiors, and be taking the fuse out of your ABS next.

Why not just admit it, you know you want to ;) , you know what I'm talking about.

How much do cups actually weigh anyway? I am in the process of reducing the weight of my 182, aiming to get it to 1000kg, with the comfort of ac, safety of esp (that you can turn of ;-) and abs which imo is not really necessary as I never feel it kick in.

Turinis! Pah forget them theyre too heavy! Superleggeras in black all the way

Going by the colour of most of these peoples Turini's, I think you'll find it's Capsicum Red resprays, Recaro cloth interiors (well on the front seats anyway  ) Sachs dampers and side skirt decals that everyone will be wanting next ;)

Yeah Leggera's are shockingly light, how much do Turini's weigh? i thought they were based on the same structure as SuperLegs (hence same weight)?

Oh and 172 cup weighs 1011kg compared to 1110kg fullfat.

(182 cup weighs 1090kg).

Turinis are 9.9 kg, hardly what id call lightweight. my old 15" legs where 4.9kg the 16" come in at about 6.53kg. All without tyres of course, but I will be sticking with PE2's they are awesome.

Do cups have cans of tyre spray stuff instead of a spare like the 182s?

Ive got supert's that came with it but getting something else- not turinis! prefer the ph1 172 interior, not to fussed about abs and certainly wouldnt mind not having it, like the xenons, hate, and i mean hate the auto wipers! That and I cant leave the fans blowing gently on the windscreenm, its all or nothing!! really I need to combine several Clios to be happy!

kully has said that my car is now quicker than his cup, thanks to a few mods and stripping the rear out.

Only have a cup if you know how to drive.......

Always prefered my 182 cup wheels to Turinins, half leather to 1.2 seats, and climate!!!

Annnnnnnnd i can still stick to Cups even with all the better stuff ;)

I've still got the orginal wheels on my Mk2 172, can't be many of us left now.

I've still got the originals on mine as well and they are staying put.

nah, Cup spec is where it's at, these cars are well too bloated... hence the lack or aircon and cup spec alternator on mine... or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself I dont miss having aircon... hmmm

well if anyone would like a 182 cup interior I would gladly swap mine for leather !!!! Oh I do miss my old interior

Turinis weigh less than that, about 8kg iirc.

And legs are heavier than 5kg too iirc...

You clearly have your head screwed on mate...

Super L's are far more rare than turinis.
