Complete history of the Civic type R

Like them all, the EP3 has a place in my heart having owned one for 5 years but I think if I had to choose one with cost irrelevant it'd be the JDM FD2.

I also loved my ep3, 5 years and near 100k miles in it. Totally different cars but for sheer fun the Clio is better. For a daily road car the ep3 pisses over the Clio.

EK9 or FD2 for me. For all the love it gets, EP3 would be bottom of the list in my eyes.

Was following the TDI North development car the other day, sounded like a beast! Running 420bhp apparently.

They are very fast, but a 35k car that looks like that is only wanted surely by younger people. I like the idea of it but at 47 its not on my list im now more in E-Class territory and the people who want them cant afford it yet. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

id like another shot in an ep3 as I drove my mates old one at length and hated every minute of it, fast, nice box, the steering was atrocious im starting to think it must have had something wrong with it as people seem to rate them highly!

Absolutely still loving our EP3 (with a few subtle mods). 133,000 miles and still as good as new. It recently had a full suspension refresh / uplift and the engine and gearbox are as slick as they've ever been. I can't see us getting rid of it. I had an awesome 'commute' in it on Monday; ok, it's not the fastest thing but the empty local roads meant I could keep the engine fizzing and thrash the tits off it... V-TEC heaven! LOL!

That telemetry and interior is super slick, just a shame they look a bit daft on the outside :/
