Confused.. What’s the best mod..

Ive Got an Clio RS 172.. Ive seen about 100topics here but im still confused..

What would you do? Nos kit(40hp progressive) or filter+superchip+exaust+cams

Is a jet of 40hp(nos) dangerous to this engine?? Its for an "intensive use..like an turbo.. more than 20-30sec shots.. minutes maybe.. Im thinking on a nos kit with advanced injection control so that nitrous strarts at 5000rpm with 10hp and progressively raises to 40hp when passing 6000rpm or starting with 10% and progressively raising to maximum 100%(40hp) in half ou 3/4 of a second..

What kind of nos do you consider safer?? Dry or Wet??

Will Superchips change maximum rpm??(from 7250 to any higher?)

Has anyone removed the catalisator of the stock exaust? Have you noticed anything?? HP gain??

Any other ideias??

Well its all subjective as t what you thinks best, personal I would go for N2O as it gives huge gains in BHP and Torque, doesnt effect feul economy and if used correctly is total safe.

You engine could jhandle 50bhp in a single hit system and you could double that with a progressive controler. Stay well clear of dry systems!!!! I think the best system you can by comercially is the Highpower stuff, http://www.noswizard.comwww.noswizard.com

But you could make you own system for about £150 if you want.

Simon, Ive been offered a NOS kit from a 172 (the guys wife is using the car while he drives his WRX STi and she doesnt want it anymore)

He said its currently setup with 30bhp jets. Would this be safe for a 1.4 16V and could I reliablly take it to 50bhp jets.

He said he paid 950 pounds for it so Im assuming its a progressive system. Im in South Africa so pricing could also be different from the UK.
