VGA is video input so naturally it's going to be visual only. Unless I've missed the point of your post?!?

the xbox360 vga cable has a vga plug and 2 phono plugs. you plug the vga plug into your tv/monitor, and the phono plugs into your amp or tv.

glad my rocket science degree is being put to good use ;)

Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Compatible with RGB from any source, such as DVD player, Sky Digibox, Freeview box, or Digital Cable

Convenient connections to existing equipment - SCART input, 15-pin density and a half D-Type VGA output.

Audio is passed through without modification to ensure optimum audio quality.

Scart to VGA SyncBlaster Cable

· Connect RGB scart equipment directly to Plasma and LCD screens/projectors · Incorporates a full functional sync separator and amplifier · All essential components built into one neat lead · No additional power supply needed (for most applications)

Not suitable for monitors designed solely for computer use. (The screen must support a horizontal scan rate of 15.625KHz- most projectors, plasma and LCD panels do whereas CRT monitors dont)
