Conti Premium’s

Well my two front contis have only managed 8,500 miles and they are almost bald. What a con these tyres are and its not as if I wheel spinned the things all the time. Any recommendations for some mid ranged tyres? Bloody clutch is faulty too.

I too found they were crap on my old Clio and I am no boy racer. My mate knackered his in under 10k too.

Ive seen other 1.2s fitted with Michelins, dunno if they last any longer?

The original front Michelins on my 2.2 Vectra lasted 28k....

Depends on your wheel dimensions...

...but My Exalto IIs lost 2mm tread in 12,000 miles on the 182. Thats barely any tread used at all!

I currently run Sport Contact IIs, and although not the best for road noise, theyre lasting some time too....

PS: I cross over every 6k miles.

yeah contis dont last long on clios but think the previous owner got about 18k out of mine. Was told that michelin lasted longer but were slightly more noisy and less grip
