BMW M3, Clio 172
I have just reinstalled my engine into my track car and have a problem. I am trying to run the car upto temperature to test the fan however it gets to two thirds up on the temperature gauge and starts chucking water out of the header tank cap. I have bleed the system twice. Squeezed top and bottom hoses, the rad is getting warm/ hot to the touch but it still keeps doing it. When the engine was out I added pure motorsports air con delete/ new thermostat and radiator. Is this pointing towards a faulty new thermostat or is there something I'm missing. It wasn't doing it before.
