coolant temp sender which one and where?

hi regarding my problem about my cAR BEING RAPID THIS MORNING EVEN THOUGH IT HADNT WARMED UP AND IT REVED TO 7K NO PROBLEM THEN WHEN IT IS WARMED UP IT REVS TO 6800 RPM!!! i think theres 2 coolant temperature senders on my clio 182 one is for the gauge and the other is for the ecu which one is which and where are they located?i seen a thread about one under the airfilter IS THIS THE ONE FOR THE GAUGE?with pics but i cant find it no more :dapprove: any links to old threads or any info

Theres only 1 temp sensor that's on the thermostat housing. Its the same one used for the ecu and the temp gauge/warninglight. Is the temp gauge on the dash giving normal readings??

Bear in mind the rev limit varies depending on what gear you are in.
