copy and paste

just a quickie, right if i can right click and copy paste but cant use the shortcut of CTL C and CTL V, does anyone know if this feature has an on off switch in XP?

It doesn;t have an on/off switch mate.

well somehow it aint working anymore. But like I said right clicking the mouse works just fine.

I pressume you have full up to date antivirus software etc (not Norton!) and your windows updates etc are all up to date?

I have sometimes had ctrl+c play up, and now usually press it a couple of times to ensure it catches the text i'm copying but its never stopped. very fishy.

What AV software? Try something like Avast if you want to double check. www.avast.com

nothing was ticked in there. One thing i have just noticed if i use the on screen keyboard the ctl c and v works.

does that help in any way?

Could it be an actual hardware fault.... i.e dodgy Ctrl key, try another keyboard
