Corrosion check

I heard a local Nissan Dealer had become a Renault Dealer and as they had been very good with my Almera GTI I booked my 1st service with them. I found out later they are not a Renault Dealer yet.....but I went through with the service by them, since Renault told me if they used proper parts my car is still under warranty. The problem is now, they did not know what was involved with the corrosion checks on the Clio. As it has now done over 13K miles there are no signs of rusting or anything. Should I get this check carried out at a proper dealer ASAP or just wait for it to be done when the Nissan Dealer becomes a Renault Dealer in the near future?

Thanks in anticipation of good advice

tell the nissan/renalt dealer not to be so lazy!

the corrosion inspection checklist is in your service book, or if they still dont know, tell them to phone a friend.....i.e a dealership that actually knows what its doing!

cheek gets you everywhere:D
