A while back, my NFS underground save file became corrupt, and then a few weeks after the DVD drive failed. I treated this as a coincidence and never bothered to get it fixed.
Now I have bought another elite as it worked out near enough the same price as getting my old one repaired. So I have two hard drives now, one with all my save files, and a new empty one. Ideally I would sell the new 120gb HDD, and just use my old one on the new system, but I worry that I do that and then down the line some files will go currupt again. So what I was wondering is, why did my save file for a certain game go corrupt? is there likely to be a fault with the HDD? If so I will just use my new HDD and miss out on carrying on with old games to complete them.
