Cost of a new clutch

for a mk 1 1.4 j reg clio....

nowhere open to get a new clutch now... but my car doesnt make it up hills anymore LOL... so anybody know how much one of these things cost just for a standard one?? or a range of prices i can expect to pay until i get on the phone tomorrow

maybe in the range of £300 - 500 new. not sure about labour.

bit of a guess on that tho.

A Cup one fully fitted by Renault is £480inc

Id imagine yours is nearer the £300 mark fully fitted.

Better off going to a Master Clutch outfit or equivalent - probably about £150max

about £80 for the clutch and then about 4hrs labour.about £250>£300 all in depending on where you go.

clutch kits outside renault cost as little as 40 quid.

Depends if your prepared to do the work yourself to save mega bucks on labour.

if you live anywhere near chesterfield ill fit the clutch for £50+the price of the clutch kit.
