Couple of quick questions

Hi guys new here and about to become a proud owner of a 182! Just got a couple of questions with regards to performance mainly. I am thinking of sticking a new exhaust on it. Am i best just getting the De-cat or getting the full system? Dont really want it to be too noisy but does the back system really make a difference? (I was looking at miltek dont know if the're any good?) Also induction kits are they a waste of money in reality? I have heard so many different opinions on them... I think if i did get one it would have to be the BMC enclosed type. Im sure these have been answered before & i did look and couldnt find any. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated. Cheers!

If your exhaust is in good nick it's a waste of cash going stainless imo.
Get a de-cat tube, a good Ik like Hill Power or Maxogen, perhaps a flowed manifold, and to maximise any gains, get it re-mapped on a dyno by someone like RS tuning.

The standard exhaust (although made from kitkat wrappers) is very efficient. A btb exhaust which had alot of development iirc only made 2hp whth only a small amout of torque increase. I'd go for a decat mind ;) Same as above, get the inlets ported and a good IK then a remap will give you the edge over a standard motor :)

Okay thanks for the reply guys ill just get the de-cat then, i didnt think the stainless would make a big difference to be honest but just wanted to double check. Can you reccomend somewhere online to get one?. Im not 100% sure if it has 1 or 2 lambda sensors as i havnt got the car yet, its an 04 model if that helps?

Thanks again guys
