Creaking when turning

Hi

Not sure how easy it would be to diagnose without hearing, but when i put full lock on to do a turn in road a creaking noise seems to come from the front.

The car is completely standard, not lowered so wouldnt be wheels rubbing i wouldnt have thought.

I've owned the car a few months now and its done it as long as ive had it.

Anyone got any ideas?

Front puter anti roll bar bushes mate take em out and swop em (bout £15 pair IIRC)or grease em lightly first see if that will do it thats what mine was .

if its creaking at full lock, maybe top mounts!!

Cheers for the help fellas. Was going to take it in for a service at end of month and was looking to see how much it was going to hurt me to get this fixed but hopefully it is something not too major then!

i had the same problem and left it and it got worse and worse. ended up being the cv joint. cost me about 90 quid to fix.
