Cv joints??????

hi guys after replacing a new clutch i have started having a noise coming from the o/s of the car i have kind of located it and i think it it the cv joint or drive shaft when i cum off the throttle theres like a clunk noise and when i press the throttle also. any ideas guys??? help much appreciated

does the noise repeat itself over and over? does it happen more frequently when you speed up?

If its happening once when you come off the throttle then once when you press it again it could be your gearbox mount bracket needing tightened. Check all the 13mm bolts under the battery etc and the mount itself. also check if the brackets broken anywhere. does your gearstick move back and forward when you press/let go the throttle?

hi yes it does move back and forward a little bit you can see it move i shall double check all the bolts cheers for the advice also wen i turn full lock left there is a clicking noise???

You cum off the throttle? yuk!

A bit of movement is normal. Could be a driveshaft issue!

Okay cheers for the reply i located the problem it was a loose mounting on the gearbox
