D3000, What lens for xmas??

I was thinking of the Nikkor 50mm 1.8d AF

But after a quick google it wont AF on my camera?

The 35mm, which will AF.. is 179 and seeing as its a present i don't really want to get them spending that much... anything else around £140?

Or shall i get the 50mm for about £105 and man up about manual focus, the AF is handy and ive been told seeing as im still slightly new focusing is harder on a a fixed lens.

Or any other suggestions?

I'd go for a 35mm af, I have gone for the 35mm f/2 but it wont AF on your camera. So go for the other one

Cheers for replys, Yeah i think second hand 35mm AF... but it needed to be a gift, ill have to find other and buy it second hand myself

think im going to try the Raynox, and get mini light booth as a gift.
