D40x + Fisher Price...

My first chance to properly use the new camera and tripod today. Unfortunately still using the D40x kit lens, but that'll change soon.

The location was the same as the Racing Blue meeting earlier in the year... although the weather was a lot nicer this time!

The car was washed with two-bucket method using Gold Class, dried with Der Wunder micros and sealed with Jeffs Acrylic.

Big thanks to Jamie for the new splitter also. I've needed one for ages!

it was about £650 inc lenses and tripod. i paid in USD though, the package would be much more expensive in the UK.

just need to buy a few better lenses now!
