dash transplant..

I'm wanting to swop my whole dash from my mk2 p1 for the newer style from a 53 plate i can get my hands on. my local garage will give me space to work and can help with wiring etc, and ive had it all out b4 to spray it, but i'm wondering about the airbag...
any1 know if it'll fit? and would it work? any1 tried?

The dash will fit in but the wiring is completly different, you will struggle unless you change all the looms and that wont be an easy task
