alrite kwingy im pretty sure this is right. If u wanna do it urself rather than a bodyshop, remove the badges using a hairdryer, to heat the glue a little, then take them off. Mask over the hole and cut careully so the hole is there but surrounding area is masked. Then weld or use a chemical metal to fix a penny behind each hole then fill the hole using a sandable filler(P38) sand this down so its smooth to the boot, then prime and sand, then spray and sand then laquer. it saves sprayin the hole boot, but gettin done by a pro will always come out with a better finish.

hey thanks jam...er sounds rather complicated how much do you think this would cost for a bodyshop? I am a clio newbie as your probably guess!
