declaring mods online

can this be done with elephant....Ive noticed on there site you can change your policy details.

But can mods be declared?

i wouldnt claim mods online becuase they cant automate stuff properly best way is to speak to them over the phone best modded insurance is either adrian flux or A&Ai'm with flux i have my 53 reg clio with the 2.0 lump dropped in viper x and full magnex, cobreau buckets, steering wheel, gear knob, £800 bk alloys, full k-tec kombat kit, window tints, £1500 worth of ice and i'm 21 with 1 years ncb garaged and i'm paying 1200 no points or crashes :) score!

Yes it can with elephant, i did it that way. There is a box to click that says has the car been modified in any way. Tick it, when you proceed to the next page it will list all modifications a person is likely to do to a car, just tick the ones that you have done.

ahh ....may do that then as im only fitting a new steering wheel...will ring up for the exhaust.

steering wheel might knock ur premium up shed loads as i presume it wont have an airbag, they might infact refuse 2 insure you with it. but only way to find out is to fone and ask

as far as I'm aware interior mods dont bump up the insurance do they?

^^^ They will do if you start to remove safety features.

Airbags either in seats or steering wheel will be part of the NCAP rating.

Obviously removing these will have impact on how safe the insurance company think car will be after removal.
