Dell PSU

Looking for a Dell Dimension 2300 PSU Part Number PS-5201-8D1

I believe these are proprietary PSU's. Perhaps someone may know of an adaptor cable to use a standard PSU?

When you say Adaptor cable do you mean Internally?

I dont remember Dell using anything other than a 20 Pin AX adaptor to power the Mobo as its a standard, or using anything other than 4 pin Molex connectors for HDD and CDROM?

Usually they Spec stupidly sized PSU's as in physical dimensions!

if its the mini ATX case its a normal sized , normal connectors PSU if its the scissors case then its a normal 20 PIN ATX connector but its a funny size.
you can get them on ebay for around £20
its the motherboards that wont fit in other case's

actually they rewire some of the psu's aspecially the ones that are of a regular AT size and shape

a very good Dell spares company we use as a reseller, they have cheap 'seconds' parts too.

Most PSU's have the 4 Pin power Connector you are showing there. I think its another +12V
