Diagnostic mystery!>!>!>????

Right long story short, My car was running on three cylinders so i immediatley thought it was the coil pack, sparks or HT leads, also the engine management light came on naturally as the car was very juddery and lacking serious power in each gear.

Changed the coil pack and spark plugs and the car seems to be okay (got a local garage to turn the engine management light off)

Then this morning after fitting the new parts the car still seemed "lacking" as it were, the fault seems to go away and come back again (the lights still off btw)

I was advised as the car was running on 3 cylinders there could have been areas of built up fuel (in the cat and exhaust i.e) So after i thought the car was fixed with the new parts i gave it a right good run out...

Can anyone advise me on what could possibly be causing the problem?

I have also been advised on the Oxygen sensors? Surley this couldnt be the problem?

Anyone, anyone atall?

When the guy's in the garage done a diagnostic it diplayed un-documented fault and then this code >>> 428952 ???

That codes the code a stupid machine throws up get it to renault or least a place who can give you a proper fault code thewre no such thing as an unknown fault code just a poor fault code reader software.

My opinion got to another garage and get them to fault find might well be one of the injectors needs changing the lambeda could be the seeminly fault since it will be giving funny readings if the injecors not working.

Im having the exact same problem!!!... changed them all but its still f00ked!!... did you manage to get yours sorted??..

Someone suggested to me that it could be a valve...

One thing after another with these pieces of crap!!.. :-(

got it sorted mate, changed the spark plugs and coil pack and seems fine!

Maybe HT leads?

Did mine the wrong way round!!!... plugs, coilpack then the HT leads!!!... which solved the problem!!!..

I would also change the TDC sensor
