do standard mk2 172 16" rims with tyres on have the same diameter as standard dynamique 15"s with tyres on?

if the diameter is slightly bigger. eg: if i put 172 16"s on my 1.2 16v. will the speedo be incorrect?

Mwuhahahahahah

Bigger diameter means your speedo will under-read. i.e. youll have 30 on the speedo but be doing 32 or whatever.

You can work it out from the percentage difference -

old diameter/new diameter = 1.xxxx

Times the speedo reading by the 1.xxx and you should get what speed youre actually doing.

(I think - that was all off the top of my head! Bit much for this time of night!)

its not worth worryin about mate for 2mph!

You could calibrate your speedo with the new rims.
