Diesel suspension

Hello,

I've just bought a mk2 1.5 DCi as a cheap run around and would like to firm up the suspension a bit.

The Clio is replacing a very low golf on coilovers which held the road well with minimal body roll but the ride was very harsh.

Ideally I'd like something in between the standard Clio suspension and the harsh ride of my golf.

I'm not particularly fussed about going lower as long as it's a bit firmer and less body roll although I wouldn't mind going down 30mm or so.

Any suggestions for decent springs? nothing too firm/harsh please.

Thanks

Eibach Sportlines sound like they would be just the job for you.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Are the sportlines notably firmer than the standard suspension?

How do they compare to the Eibach pro kit?

How much do they actually lower by? The ones I've found on eBay say 45-50mm on the front. That's a bit more than I'd like.

I cant say, only seen them on a 182, less of a drop on those as they are a touch lower already. Prolines hardly lower at all on a 172/182 but might be more noticeable on a non-sport I guess.

mines sitting on sportlines, not that low. still comfy to drive and speedbumps are do-able without going to 15mph lol
