Difference between xenon headlights?

Hi all!

My Clio RS is from july 2001 and needs a new right headlight partnr: 7701051792. Left is 7701051791 for clio's with xenon between date 2001/06 2001/08/28

There are also partnrs 7701054071 R and 7701054060 L for clio's with xenon between date 2001/08/28 2004/01

And there are also parnrs 7701057660 R and 7701057656 L for clio's with xenon after 2004/01

But they all cost the same. What are the differences as I can't see any at first look. And can I buy a light from a clio of 2002?

172 and 182 headlights are different. So 2004 onwards would have grey inserts, not black like the 172's have.

is that the only difference between the 172 and 182 headlights then ? (totally identical apart from from insert colour)

If there are only 2 differences why are there 3 partnumbers then?

only other difference I know of other than backing colour is the bulb retaining mechanism. see pics in http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=418123

I have one black and one grey headlight (dont ask) But neither are xenons so be careful what you do order!!
