Direct Line - Lowering

What are direct line like if your car is lowered. I'm currently covered by them and just wondering how much extra you've had to pay if they let you lower it at all?
Cheers :approve:

I'm 18. My dad's the main driver on it but will they just say that it can be done but I'd have to be taken off the policy?

Another fraudster we got here. No you cannot lower it with directline. I'm pretty sure they won't insure under 21's on cars such as a GTi, VTS, RS, and the like in fact any car remotely sporty and they won't go anywhere near you. That's from my personal experience anyway, glad I'm with Flux now, they will do anything lmao.

Yeah they are pretty strict, they wont touch anyone under 21 with a high performance car, and no mods under 25

i was insured through them with my clio, they refused to insure my golf so i had to go elsewhere

Fraudster? I fail to see how I am committing fraud at all. It's my dads car, he's the main driver, I drive it occasionally. Should probably get the facts right before you go accusing people of things.

Thanks for your help anyway guys. Looks like she won't be getting lowered. :(

No mods if your under 25 its a bit harsh tbh but they where the cheapest for me so I went for it just for the ncb.

I used to work for Direct Line, so as what has been said above, any modifications that will affect the look/performance of the car you would have to be 25 or over.

Used to deal with stuff like this all the time, you wouldnt believe the amount of under 25's who modify there car, have a claim, then Direct Line wouldnt pay for the claim and cancel the policy.

Then they would have the cheek to make a complaint.

Thanks for all your help guys. :D

And just for the people who won't listen, I am the occasional user. My dad doesn't have his own car, some people should think before accusing people of things that aren't true.

Thanks again guys.
