Disabling hard drive in bios

If i disable a hard drive in bios, i have 2 hard drives with different operationg systems, can a virus be transfered to the active drive if i have disabled the other?

No. The OS needs access to a disk to be able to read or write to it.

Make sure it's unplugged at source before you pull those power rails in and out if you do. Once saw a brand new drive go up in a tiny puff of blue smoke by not doing that!

never ever seen that happen and ive done most probably 1000's
