Disabling passenger airbag

Can this be done?
One of the reasons I bought a 172 was for the ISOFix stuff, and I've realised that it's missing the rear bar

Having trouble finding one, and until then, I need to be able to carry our little dude around, but obviously I'm not going to do it with the airbag enabled!

Isnt there a switch in your passenger side door switch panel?

Put your key in, twist, take key out, airbag disabled
