Divx ???

I have Divx media centre or whatever its called

I have followed the simple instructions

1. Place blank disc in drive
2. Drag and drop file (checked to make sure it is a Divx file)
3. Burn - but this is never highlighted


What am i doing wrong or does anyone have a better way to do it ????

just burn it as a normal disk for files,

are u trying to play the disk on a external player?

what hardware is it etc

I'm guessing he's trying to burn it as a DIVX movie to play via a DIVX Player.

Just use a different piece of burning software. I've never used the software you talk of, but Nero is a piece of cake to use.

Suggestion:
-Make sure your media is blank.
-Make sure the capacity of the media is large enough for the file.
-Check over your settings.
-Be aware that it will NOT play on a DVD player unless you re-encode it .VOB format first.
-Check the correct codec's are installed on your client.

Trying to make it so it plays in a dvd player if that helps

Try a different utility mate, shouldn't be any problems with converting the file - but it does take a fair bit of time to re-encode a DIVX file.

Not all DVD players will play Divx format.

If you have a divx file and want it to play on a dvd playerthat wont play divx then it has to be converted to dvd. Wouldnt know how to do this, or even if it can be done, but it will take a long time to do it.
