Do I need a laquer?

  BMW M4; S1000 RR
I'm painting some interior plastic parts, after the primer and base coat (which in this case is satin black); will I need to use a laquer to ensure it doesn't flake etc?

if you lacquer satin black it will make it gloss black. just ensure you have plenty of base coat on there and you should be fine.
The paint will only peel/flake due to poor prep not through having no lacquer

Didn't see it on the shelf (only looked in Halfords to be fair!) so I bought Clear laquer, however I was aware it might make it more shiny and it's already 'fairly' shiny (for interior bits) as it is.

You're doing the right thing then imo. Really shiny bits inside looks proper naff.
